MEET THE PODIATRISTS

Cathy opened her first practice, ‘New Lambton Podiatry’ in New Lambton in 1989 and now has over 32 years experience behind her. With a passion for podiatry, Cathy has taken pleasure in seeing generations of families pass through the doors. 

 Cathy currently works Monday, Thursday and Friday.

Jacob grew up in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie area and graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2017.

He has worked as a podiatrist in Townsville,Newcastle ,Maitland and the Hunter for over 5 years.

Jacob has a broad podiatry interest from general foot and diabetic footcare,to more complex pain patients involving sport,injuries,disabilities and the prescription of othotics.

On the weekend he enjoys playing golf,going to the gym,watching the NRL and spending time with his dog Eddy.

Originally from Ireland, Lauren has chosen Newcastle as the place to weave the next chapter in her story. Lauren has worked in private practice, public health care  & taught at the University of Western Sydney in the Podiatry 

Department.

Lauren enjoys exploring the outdoors, savouring the experience of dining out & is well travelled.

Taryn is a friendly and experienced Podiatrist. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Podiatry from the University Newcastle in 2010, Taryn has been working full time in private practice. After 12 years living and working in Sydney, Taryn has relocated back to the Hunter.

Craig graduated with a Bachelor of podiatry from the University of Newcastle in 2017, joining New Lambton Podiatry and Merewether Podiatry in October 2024 after working in the Hunter Region over the last 7 years.

Clinically, Craig has a passion for rehabilitation of injuries and preventative interventions. His skills are presently focused on general podiatric care, diabetic assessments and enhancing sporting performance through biomechanical assessments. Craig has completed further training in Dry-Needling, Shock Wave Therapy, Swift Therapy and has obtained a certificate III and IV in Personal Training.

Born and bred in Newcastle, Craig loves spending time with his Wife and young family. Craig is a member of the Newcastle Triathlon Club and a keen competitor at the Lake Macquarie Parkrun. Craig’s interest in Podiatry stems from a sporting background including swimming, cycling, long distance running and competing in Ironman triathlons.

Zac graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry from the University of Newcastle in 2016. Since graduating Zac has worked in regional victoria and metropolitan sydney for the past 8 years. 

In addition to general podiatric care, Zac is passionate about rehabilitating acute sport injuries.  Zac has completed training in Dry-Needling, Myofascial Cupping, Shock Wave Therapy and further study into soft tissue injuries.

Returning to his home town of Newcastle, Zac is excited to spend more time with his family. During his spare time, you will find Zac playing cricket, golf and football. After living away from Newcastle he is most looking forward to watching live sporting events and exploring the local restaurant scene.
